Web hosting is renting the web space that is needed to publish your website online. This is usually
paid for monthly or annually and is always required. You will see online offers for very cheap web hosting, these offers usually have various
hidden extras that make the actual costs more expensive.

A domain name is the unique address that points to your website, for example ours is grwebdevelopment.com

are paid.
We can help you choose the most appropriate available domain name for your business during our initial discussions.
I already have a Website but am thinking of improving it.
If you have all the relevant log-in details we are usually able to assist with this,
however with a standard size website of say 4-7 pages it can often be more cost effective and easier to build a new
site, this will have the added benefits of using more up to date technology.
I already have a Website but it does not perform very well on some browsers.
We can have a look at it and in most cases improve the onsite SEO. We would need your log-in details for your
site and would quote on the work involved. With some older sites that were not built with SEO in mind, it may only take a very small amount of work and
can make a big difference to how your site performs.
How can I update my Website without going through you, i.e my company's special offers or image changes etc.
If you opt for a full CMS (content management system) you will be able to make changes to your text, pictures and any other
content you think you may want to change. We recommend this rather than just having access to your back end side of your site as there are certain
safeguards that need to be in place such as picture sizes etc as too large an image could slow down your load speed and cause more SEO problems.
What is a CMS?
A CMS (content management system) is a computer software application that manages the digital content of a website.
A CMS functions as a user-friendly system for website content development, making it possible for individuals to make changes and updates to
the front end of their site without using code.
How much is it going to cost?
This can vary, but a simple site will only cost you about £200.
Obviously the more you want out of your site the more work involved and the cost reflects that, a fully
dynamic site is upwards from £650. However you could start it off as a simple static site with the intention to build on it at
a later time.
If you want more now but cannot afford the build cost you could opt for a more expensive monthly hosting fee and get the build FOC.
Will you design our Logo?
This service is available for an extra £100 and we will give you a choice
of six designs based on our initial discussion with you.
